Training Providers and Performance

This report shows the performance of the training programs under the purview of the Alaska Workforce Investment Board. Employment status, earnings, and customer satisfaction measures are all presented for those exiting programs in 2011.

These contain a complete list of schools, apprenticeships, and other occupational training providers that are eligible to receive training funds under the Workforce Investment Act. The list provides prospective students with reliable and objective information useful for making training and career decisions and reports on the success of former students in finding and maintaining employment. Programs that are eligible for WIA funds have shown that their students as a group have attained an employment rate of 65 percent and a median earnings level of $3,500 over a three-month period.

This report is no longer published. Information on training programs and providers are available on the Alaska Training Clearinghouse web page.
